At some point I told myself, “I’ll do a double issue next week to make up for it.” That was, and I want to be honest with you here, not last week. It may not have even been last month. The concept of “last time I did this” currently exists somewhere in my brain between “that song I can’t remember the name of” and “the reason I walked into this room.”

But look. I’m here now. You’re here now. We have memes. The memes, unlike me, have always been on time. The internet never forgets, never loses focus, never opens seventeen tabs and then stares at the wall for forty minutes thinking about whether otters have best friends (they do, by the way, they hold hands so they don’t drift apart while sleeping, and yes I spent forty-five minutes on that instead of finishing this intro).

What preoccupies me, you ask?

The point is that ADHD is funny because it’s relatable, it’s universal, and it makes you feel slightly less alone in the very specific chaos of being built this way. That’s what these memes are for. That’s what this whole series is for.
See you next week. Or the week after. Or whenever I remember this exists

So, if you’re a longtime reader, you might remember this series. If you’re a new reader, hello, welcome, and please know I have been doing this every single week without exception, consistently, like a person with a functioning executive function. If you’re a returning reader who noticed the gap between the last post and this one, I would like to remind you that time is a flat circle and also that I don’t know who you are or who I am, really. I’m sorry.
